The Auburn Police Department is a 2-person department that serves the citizens of the City of Auburn and the community through the enforcement of local ordinances and state laws. The people oriented officers interact with the citizens through community activities on a personable level. Being a small department they are assisted heavily by the Logan County Sheriff’s Department.
The Auburn Police Department is active in community involvement and is proactive in the school system. On October 23, 2014 they presented their Safety Pup Program to preschool aged children at Auburn Elementary School to enforce the concept of ‘stranger danger’ among other safety situations.
