The planning area comprises all of Auburn and the US 68 corridor from Warren County and Russellville’s service area. The recommended plan represents the alternative with the lowest present worth cost, a minimal environmental impact, and the highest capability for implementation. The recommended plan calls for constructing a new Wastewater Treatment Plant to increase the capacity of wastewater that can be treated. Additionally, the plan includes sewer system improvements within Auburn’s sewer collection system. The draft plan will be available for review at City Hall (103 E. Main Street) during normal business hours September 8, 2017, to October 9, 2017.
